Terroir:

This wine is from 100% estate grown fruit. Our vines are sheltered in the foothills of Carter’s Mountain in the Monticello American Viticultural Area (AVA).

Winemakers’ Notes:

Made in the Méthode Champenoise, this sparkling wine is made from Trump Winery’s best Chardonnay grapes.  The grapes were hand-picked in small baskets and pressed gently using a Champagne press.  After a combination of 95% stainless steel and 5% neutral French oak barrel aging, the wine gains complexity by aging on the lees in the bottle for a minimum of 48 months. A low dosage is added at disgorging to balance acidity and to improve mouthfeel.

Tasting Notes:

This brut sparkling wine is made from 100% Chardonnay, using the traditional French Méthode Champenoise. The nose begins with green apple, brioche and slight pear.  On the mouth there is crisp acidity with citrus notes.
